    Hey there,

Your Soft Drummer app looks to be the perfect app for my needs. Is there any plan to give it AUv3 capabilities? Knowing that is on the horizon makes it easier to pull the trigger.

    Thanks. Love your apps.

Hi Chris, thanks for your kind words! AUv3 for Soft Drummer is on our roadmap, but we don’t have a release date yet. We really appreciate your support and interest!

    Hello!
I am really loving these apps, and for the most part, they are very user-friendly. One thing I cannot figure out, however, is how to control the app with a Bluetooth midi foot switch. My other apps recognize it in the midi configuration settings, but your apps Don’t seem to see it. Am I doing something wrong, or do these apps not work with Bluetooth, maybe foot switches.

      Hello!
Thanks for the kind words, we’re glad you’re enjoying the apps 😊
First, please make sure that your Bluetooth foot switch is fully compatible with iOS and works as a standard Bluetooth MIDI device. You can usually verify this in iOS Settings → Bluetooth or Settings → MIDI (depending on the device).
Once it’s connected at the system level, open the app and go to MIDI In. Make sure:
MIDI In is enabled in the app.
The MIDI channel set in the app matches the MIDI channel used by your foot controller.
Once those settings are aligned, the app should respond to the foot switch. We hope this helps and that you continue enjoying making music with the apps!

When exporting audio from Pop Drummer the bus effect sends and main reverb are not recorded to the exported audio file. Is this correct or am I missing something? Great app having lots of fun.

    1. Lumbeat Support Avatar

      Hi,
Thanks for your message and for your kind words, we’re glad to hear you’re having fun with Pop Drummer 😊
Yes, that is correct. Audio Export only includes the clean drum sounds, without the bus effect sends or the main reverb. Effects are intended for real-time playback and mixing, but they are not rendered into the exported audio file.
Thanks again for using the app, and feel free to reach out if you have any other questions.

Any chance you’ll be adding bass to the app. I often use a looper to create drum beats and then an octave pedal to create bass lines, then play guitar over the top. Live the realistic nature of the beats and fills, but Would be great if pop drummer had the capability to add some
Bass lines so I could play along fully. Thanks.

      Thanks for your message!
For bass parts we recommend using our iBassist app, which is specifically designed to create realistic bass lines. Pop Drummer is focused entirely on drums, so it can deliver the most natural grooves and fills possible. Used together, they make a great combo for playing live. Thanks for your support!

looking forward to a AUv3 upgrade for Soft Drummer too: it’s a great gig companion and it would be great if you could introduce some new features, and maybe modern MPE support to tweak sounds and rhythm parameters. willing to give active support in the development of a new release. cheers

Thanks so much for the kind words and for your support! 🙌
We’re really glad to hear Soft Drummer works well for you as a gig companion. An AUv3 version is definitely on our radar, and we truly appreciate your ideas about new features and MPE support. Your willingness to actively support a future release means a lot to us. Cheers!
